Forliano is a John Lyons Certified
and USHJA Certified Trainer specializing in starting horses
and ponies of any discipline under saddle, working with young
horses and ponies and problem solving for any discipline
(rearing, bucking, biting, behavioral issues, respect issues,
trailer loading, in-gate issues, jump refusals, and more).
Jessica works with pleasure horses for the casual rider
as well as show horses for both the amateur and professional
rider, breeder and trainer. In-house training
training programs for horses and ponies. Some travel to client
farms is possible upon request.
Programs offered are tailored to each specific horse and the purpose of the training.
Starting a horse or pony under saddle requires a minimum
90-day stay. While problem solving or showing and prepping
may require varying lengths of stay.
Jessica uses and East meets West training philosophy during the training process
and emphasizes that every equine is different. She uses both
natural horsemanship she learned directly from John and Josh
as well as
she learned while showing Hunters and Dressage horses.
Over the years, Jessica
has worked with numerous breeds
of equines including Stallions of varying breeds, Wild
Mustangs, Mules, off- track Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Fjords,
Welsh Cob, Ponies, Arabians, Anglo-Arabians, Paints, and
Quarter Horses as well as multiple discipline horses
Reiners, Dressage, Barrel Racers, Parade Horses and Trail
Horses and Mules.
